THREADJACKING: Private posts are private. Open posts are open. Having your character jump into a thread between two characters: give me a heads up so that we don't overlap.
SLOWTAGGING/BACKTAGGING: Slow tags and backdating are fine, as long as we keep communication open on what happens or is happening.
NSFW: Totally OK.
AVOIDED SUBJECTS: I'm probably good with anything, but if there's a certain something I'd rather not do, we can talk about it.

IC CHARACTERISTICS: Information for players.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Very short, very blonde hair. Styles herself somewhat masculine. There are days when she wears no makeup, and a stranger wouldn't know her gender from first glance. Usually her clothes are brightly colored and comfortable. Never anything classically feminine. Think soft punk. Nothing is just in her wardrobe. Everything has a little embellishment added to make it unique. She is always wearing a set of stainless steel dog tags.
DEMEANOR: Harper is comfortable, laid back and easy-going, sometimes too familiar with people she's just met. She uses a lot of slang and computer speech, and she's usually loud and laughing. She doesn't have a lot of patience for idiots or people who don't care, and she does have a very short fuse when it comes to things she's passionate about. If you insult her, things she loves, or a person she cares about, she will explode.
PHYSICAL CONTACT: She has little awareness of or concern for personal space, except when someone gets too close to her computer. She will smack a person who eats near her laptop. That said, she gets more uncomfortable when people show true affection toward her. Hugs in greeting or joking are fine. If she's having an emotional moment and someone tries to hug her, she'll stiffen up and feel uncomfortable.
FLIRTING: Hot and cold. If it feels playful and not serious, she'll flirt back, shamelessly, for laughs. If it is serious and comes on strong, she'll close up and try to run away.
RELATIONSHIPS: She is not currently in a romantic relationship and never really has been. She's not against relationships, but feels very uncomfortable with the idea of them. It would take some work to make her open to a relationship.
HOME INFORMATION: Harper lives in the most centrally located apartment housing available. It's a mess of clothes and odds and ends, but underneath it all, it's clean. She hates bugs. Her primary concerns are her laptop and a bed; everything else is extra. She has jury-rigged a low grade security system. Basically an extremely loud alarm will go off if you enter when she's not there and a magical tag will be affixed to you, so she can track you with a spell.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Basically any kind of human injustice. Any flavor of racism, homophobia, or misogyny. Older generations who don't have time for learning new things. Younger generations who don't have time for learning new things.
ABILITIES: Excellent coder and hacker. Pretty good with most anything electrical.
POWERS: Harper is something of a technology witch. It flows through her naturally, not with specific spells or enchantments. Her code can make you do something, when you visit that website, and she can put an extra spin on anything she upgrades. Making machines do what she wants -- like turning on a radio from across the room or making a TV short circuit -- is easy. The fact that this is magic is relatively new to her, and she's getting used to it. She would try to hide this information from people she does not know, but if a stranger pisses her off she would totally fry his iPhone and just hope he doesn't realize she did it.
WITCH FORM: Eventually will be able to transfer her consciousness into a computer, à la Tron. This will be very physically taxing for her and not something she can do often.

RELATIONSHIP CONTROL: Currently, no one.
MENTAL: Definitely vulnerable.
FIGHTING/VIOLENCE: Harper knows she's not much in the physicality department. She will shout at someone if they piss her off, and if they throw the first punch then Harper will return it. But mostly she'll mess with your cell phone and make sure your car doesn't start.
LURING: She is definitely vulnerable and sirens are free to use their powers.
MAGIC: Other characters can use magic on her. She is particularly vulnerable to specifically nature-based magic, particularly water-based magic.
